Louisa is still a Media Excel artiste - Kwesi Ernest

Ernest Kwesi Ennin, Chief Executive Officer, Media Excel Production has refuted rumors that renowned Gospel artiste Louisa has parted ways with the firm.

Speaking with Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5 Saturday, Ennin opined that the communiqué was not appropriately done.

According to him, there were other arrangements to help promote Louisa’s songs in other countries like Italy, Canada, US and Nigeria which is yet to be disclosed.

“Louisa is still a Media Excel Production artiste but the arrangement was that since she stays and lives in London we liaise with a mediator there to work out for events or a radio interview on behalf of Media Excel. We’ve made arrangements in other countries like Italy, US and Canada and also making schedule with another company Supagetti Records in Nigeria to help push our artiste’s songs worldwide so it was a miscommunication.”

He expressed sadness about the low market of Ghanaian gospel songs in next-door countries like Cote D’Ivoire though they enjoy Ghanaian music.

Kwesi added that his firm has outlined plans to extend their market to these countries with the help of Public Relations Companies and Music Promoters to market the songs and the artistes in other countries.

Kwesi Ernest disclosed that his artiste now has a larger market in London since her online distribution system is working for her.

In an earlier account, Gospel singer Louisa was reported to have signed on to a new record label based in London, Rhapsody Management.
