Gospel musician Chief Charles has jabbed musician Lucky Mensah for his latest song eulogizing the achievements of president Akufo Addo’s government.
Lucky Mensah defected from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to join the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2016. He composed a song ‘Ye Sesa Mu” prior to the elections and nothing has been heard of him till days ago when he released another song titled “Nana Yen Ye Wodien Ni”.
The song which is very strategic and timely praises Nana Addo for the Free SHS Policy, end of dumsor, One District-One Factory, and improvement on the National Health Insurance Scheme among others.
The song has been met with mixed emotions from people who are on the opposite ends of the rope among them, Chief Charles. Chief Charles is obviously not enthused by the song in any way. Speaking on Zylofon FM and monitored by zionfelix.net, he questioned Lucky Mensah’s basis for the song in question.
According to him, the song is not a reflection of what the current government has achieved. He chastised the government for their inability to live up to their campaign promises and questioned what exactly the government has to show for 3 years in office.
In his words, the Nana Addo led government is an absolute failure and Lucky Mensah must be ashamed of himself for wasting his talent on the song.
