Do you remember MOGO? And do you also remember Lumba Brothers? What about C.K Mann and the ‘good old’ band of our time, The Ramblers?

Well, if these  names have invoked some profound memories of the ‘good old days’ and have made you to miss those days, then worry no more, because come 7th of December, Omni media  Ltd, the operators of  CITI FM, is bringing all these artists to perform live at the National Theater.

The Lumba Brothers, made up of Nana Acheampong and Daddy Lumba who took the music industry by storm in the early 1990s  will graced this year’s MOGO concert and   reports  picked by the Weekly Fylla indicates the duo are excited about their participation and have geared into serious rehearsals towards the day.

The last time the duo performed was at the Burger Highlife Concert organized by the Goethe Institute in Accra and Kumasi and if what I saw at the national theater that day despite their late rehearsal was anything to go by then believe you me, this year’s MOGO will be a must-to- watch show.

Expectedly, patrons will like to hear  songs  like, Yereye Aka Akantuo Mo, Theresa, Anka Ebeye Den, Obi Ato Meso Boo’ etc.

The concert will also feature  great artists such as,  Pat  Thomas, Paullina Oduro who I learnt will do a  duet with  Papa Yankson  on a remix of the song ” Tena Mekyen”, Mac Tonto of Osibisa fame who will also be performing exclusively with The Masqueraders  and  C.K Mann.

This year’s concert is proudly sponsored by MTN, Coca Cola, Johnnie Walker Red Label, Dannex and powered by 97.3 Citi FM.
