Actress Lydia Forson, who was in the news for jabbing critics of model Hamamat Montia for showing too much skin at this year’s VGMAs has found a new love online.

The Letter From Adam actress and producer is noted for her outspoken nature, witty writing and education on the use of home recipes as nourishing hair cream for women with natural hair.

Even though Forson has not made it clear as to whether she will come out with her own brand of hair products, a check through her Social Media profiles reveals someone who takes her home remedies really serious.

She has also gained ‘notoriety’ as someone who uses her articles on her blog lydiaforson.com to educate followers on topics including women empowerment, relationships and self-love.

This new move of Forson comes at the time when she hasn’t featured in any Ghanaian movie in recent times.

She is an award winning Ghanaian actress, writer, and producer. In 2010, she won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a leading Role.

What I love about natural hair is the overwhelming hair tips , easy to get and affordable ingredients, and do it -your-self (DIY) methods. So for every budget, hair type, and mood, there’s something for you. And I also love the immediate results I get with some of these methods; especially when I do a deep condition and instantly have my hair looking and feeling great. Do you ever experience a bounce in your step when you step out after you’ve treated your hair and done a bomb twist out? I’ll be walking around town like “yea, sup, like my hair? ” lol But the truth is, it’s not everyday I have the time or all the ingredients to condition my hair the way I want to. And that’s why natural hair is so convenient for people like me who’re always on the go, because it doesn’t take much of an effort to get the results I need. Sometimes all it takes is whatever you have available in your kitchen , and trust me even that can be plenty. So today I want to show you a hair mask that’s really great for dry, damaged hair which easy on your purse and simple to do.--- Read full article on www.lydiaforson.com (link in bio) *Please try to read the full article which answers most of the questions you've asked here.

It’s avocado season and I intend to take advantage of it to the fullest. The great thing about it is that it’s great for your hair, body and also to eat.I call it my tripple magic, because it works magic all over your body. Today I’m going to teach you how to make the avocado, honey and olive oil hair masks. A lot of people make the mistake of thinking hair masks should only be done on the rare occasion or when you feel your hair is dry; the thing is not matter how good your hair may seem, you should do a hair mask atleast once a week to give your hair the moisture it needs. Read on some ways to use Hair Masks right. Avocado and olive oil combined with honey is a rich moisturizer especially for dry, brittle hair and damaged hair and can instantly transform it into sleek shiny strands. It’s also good for preventing split ends, protection against heat and chemicals, hair growth and for softening hair.--- Read full method on www.lydiaforson.com (link in bio)

My friends know that I’m a sucker for home remedies. And I believe nearly everything we need for our skin, face, hair and essentially every part of our body in general is right there in the kitchen. Got a stain on your couch? Clean it with some cotton and vinegar . Got a toothache?Gargle some salt water solution. Got a throat infection? Chew on garlic and honey. The list is endless; and not only are these methods probably more effective and safer than some of the overly chemicalized products on the market, they’re usually very cheap.( don’t pretend you don’t like to save some coins). So today I’m going to show you my DIY (do it yourself) facial mask.------ READ MORE at www.lydiaforson.com (link in bio)

The biggest problem associated with natural hair, is the assumption that it’s boring and you can’t do anything with it. People are still stuck on the Afros from the 80’s people used to have on. Wake up everyone it’s 2016 and having natural hair doesn’t automatically mean you’re supposed to carry it in Afro for eternity. Say hello to protective styling. It’s just any hair style that doesn’t consist of your natural hair being out loose. Hence the word protective, because not only do you get to change up your look with a hot new hair style but it also protects your hair strands which can be damaged through regular washing, combing, styling and detangling.
