Claims that Lydia Forson has launched attacks on fellow actress Princess Shyngle for mocking female celebrities who attend weddings have turned out to be false.
It has emerged that the celebrated Ghanaian actress never made any derogatory comment targeted at the Gambian-born actress and socialite who is known for her small waist.
Shyngle, after rapper Sarkodie’s recent marriage ceremony, took to social media to poke fun at female celebrities who have been attending weddings by asking them to find men to settle down with and stop roaming about from wedding to wedding.
She did that by sharing photos of Sarkodie and Tracy along with those of Trigmatic, John Dumelo, Stonebwoy and their wives on Instagram and wrote, “The most gorgeous couples. Seeing the images of Sark’s wedding online just got me thinking like seriously all the male celebrities are getting married to calm, chill, decent and well mannered no instagram or social media girls but all the female celebs above 30 almost 40 are all still single and busy attending weddings every weekend like don’t they feel bad. No shade though. Abeg dear future hubby start coming now before I turn 28 abeg. Congratulations Sark and Tracy.”
Friday media reports, however, touted an earlier statement Lydia Forson made projecting it as a response to Shyngle’s post.
“Dear wedding MC’s, I beg, it’s is NOT your wedding, it is not your time to shine, it is NOT your audition for Americans Got Talent or Who can Scream the Loudest. Stop stealing the couple’s spotlight with your dry jokes, unnecessary commentary and over the top personality,” Lydia said on Twitter.
But it turned out that she made the post on July 16, 2018 long before Shyngle’s comment and it could not have been a ‘reply’ to Shyngle.
