Lydia Kwakye joins gospel train

The already tall list of Ghanaian musicians has been given a new lease of life with the entrance of a female artiste silky-voiced, Lydia Kwakye.

After discovering her talent in song ministration at the tender age of 8, Lydia stayed literary stayed in the dark, solely to groom herself and nurture her talent. She has now demonstrated her skill, style and also fascinated gospel music lovers with her maiden album.



Lydia, a choir member in the Christ Apostolic Church International (C.A.C) has launched her ten-track inspirational gospel album titled “Ogyefo Bi” literally meaning a Redeemer.



Mama Lydia’s “Ogyefo Bi” album is currently blazing hot on almost all the radio and television stations across the country. The album boast of tracks like “Odo Ben Ni” meaning what sort of love is this in Christ as the reliable refuge.

Other tracks on this fantastic album include “Ogyefo Bi”, the title track which highlights the readiness of Christ to save us in times of trouble. The rest are “Me Ma Wo Mmo” among others. Also on the album is an inspirational worship track.



The album is a Magic Label Production and is available in all music shops around the country.
