Ghanaian rapper and singer Worlasi has described fellow musician, M.anifest as a living legend.

Worlasi made this known in an interview on Class Drive (CD) on Class91.3FM, hosted by Prince Benjamin.

He said: “I am learning a lot from M.anifest. The guy is a legend. He’s a living legend. What he’s done, what he’s doing, the way he’s writing, for him not to change who he is and his style of music and still do what he’s doing, it takes guts. It takes respect and I'm learning a lot from him and his management. That’s all I can say for now.”

Born Raphael Paa Kwasi Worlasi Langani, the rapper added that: “People even think he (M.anifest) is using me and all that, Why? Am I not using him? Do you know the followers I’ve got from him? Do you know the opportunities he’s given me? No, you don’t, but they are not looking at it like that...You know Ghana is boring so they want news.”

Speaking further on his relationship with the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2018 award winner, the music producer and visual artiste, pointed out that he was happy to have M.anifest as a friend.

“I know some mainstream acts who have some underground people working with them and they are relating to the elderly ones like ‘Oh chale he’s my god’ but he (M.anifest) makes you feel like we are all human beings,” he noted.

Worlasi has been featured a number of times on records by M.anifest. Some of which are 100%, Nowhere Cool album track ‘Hand Dey Go Hand Dey Come’ and the latest called Okay.
