Record producer and boss of The Last Two Music Group, Da’ Hammer has described the ongoing lyrical battle between Sarkodie and M.anifest as a “classic misunderstanding”.

Sarkodie on Sunday released ‘Kanta’ as a reply to M.anifest’s ‘god MC’ which some believe was directed at the former following his release of ‘Bossy’ track.

The issue has dominated the media landscape as it is being discussed on even socio-political talk shows.

Touching on it on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz, Friday, Hammer said the beef was not provoked. According to him, M.anifest misunderstood Sarkodie’s recognition of him on the song to be a jab.

“It was a clear issue of misunderstanding. M.anifest got the ‘bossy’ song wrong. I think he saw it as an attack on him. Everybody saw it as a way Sarkodie showed him respect. Unfortunately, he saw it as a disrespectful song,” he said.

Adding, “It is not a proper beef. It was just an issue of misunderstanding. And I’m sure they will resolve it.”

Sarkodie rapped about his success story and how bossy he has become on the song produced by JaySo and ended his lines with

“M.anifest me ser? wo let me just use your d?d??d?tid? to end this verse”
