M.anifest’s 'Be My Woman' short-film selected for La Jolla 2018

Makere Cross Thekiso’s short film “Be My Woman”, which is based on rapper M.anifest’s recent music video with the same title, has been selected for the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival in Canada, June next year.

“#BeMyWoman short film officially selected for La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival. Screening July 2018. Dir: Makere Cross Thesis”, said M.anifest via Facebook on Wednesday October 25 as he announced the news.

Thekiso reportedly did not intend to make the short film until he was onset M.anifest’s video shoot and it dawned on him what an authentic fashion narrative they had on their hands.
