Disastrous had a sense of urgency about his music so he started writing his own music in his teens and killing beats with his lyrics. Disastrous in full swing started memorizing lyrics and performed at every variety show in Tema.
A native son of Ghana, Disastrous stands as one of the most thrilling young MCs who is repping for Ghana to the fullest in the states.
Thanks to a few Ghanaian hiphop heads like Mensa, Scientific, Blitz and more, he has quickly made believers know he ain’t messing around. T o make people accept him as true MC, he says “free styling in the cafeterias in school was so competitive simply because everybody in Brooklyn knew how to rap some way or some how”.
Disastrous like many young rappers fell in love with hiphop music early. “My elder brothers, Rodney and Russell influenced me in a great way. Soon came a new form of music called hip life by Reggie Rockstone and Freddie Funkstone which I also enjoyed so much”, he said.
Now that his fans are on lock, Disastrous is en route for his full length album with artistes like Canz, Gibril the African, Treasure Chest, Urban Network, Young Rich, Big Lez, Young Ice and Soldiers.
The streets will definitely respond by snatching up his mix tapes when Funk Master Flex’s DJ, DJ E-Love announces it soon.
