Among all the up and coming music talents in Ghana one popular name that has the potential of attaining the status of the big fishes in the music business such as the Shattawale’s and the Sarkodie’s is Dennis Ewusie Hanson known in showbiz arena as Kofi Kiss.

In an exclusive interview with Flex newspaper the Ofankor Asofan – based artiste disclosed how helpless and useless both MUSIGA and GHAMRO are to the up and coming musicians in Ghana.

According to Kofi Kiss, now it seems in Ghana being underground is clearly a third opposition party in our country where you don’t even know who to approach.

“We have gotten to a level where the big men claims music is not good business that they can invest their money into, so now it is either you depend on friends and family to push your way through or you will be left behind, but here is the case where friends and families too knows nothing about music,” he told Flex newspaper.

“Obviously, it is making the music journey very difficult to embark on, moreover both MUSIGA and GHAMRO are useless to underground artists because as it stands now they have no correct structures that favor even the top artiste how much more we,” he added.

Kiss started doing music at the age of eight (8). During his basic school days he could sing every song he had heard on radio at Mumford Community B Junior High in Gomoa West.

While waiting for his results he formed a music group and called it Homeboyz. Eyoh Soundboy produced their first song which did quite well in 2009. He was a singer in the group whilst his two guys were rappers.

He got put him off because they sometimes did mix tapes and that makes the group stagnant so years later he developed his rap skills and he wrote his first rap song which was produced by Eyoh.

Although it was a cover of R2bees Ajeei song, it did massively well in the Central Region and added more recognition to my brand. Along the line the group broke up finally and now Kofi Kiss is a solo artiste.

He is now out with my big song dubbed We Want Peace in Ghana the song features ACK, Oh Joe & ARRES3RD. For more information on the song long on to goditgh.com,facebook kofikissgh or nanakofihanson.
