Self acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale on AM Pluzz has disclosed that The Musicians Union Of Ghana does not and is not doing anything for the Ghanaian Musician.

Shatta Wale who was speaking in a telephone conversation with host Sammy Flex first stated that Ghana has no music industry therefore he does not understand why MUSIGA would put out statements as one that deters them from using obscene lyrics in their songs.

Even though he agreed that that would have been a step in the right direction if MUSIGA was doing what the Musician needs. “This is not what we need as Musicians. We need our royalty collection to work. For me I have never received any royalties from MUSIGA.” Shatta Wale stated.

He further went on to say that the industry did not make him. It was the street that made him. It is for this reason that he produces the kind of songs we hear and sometimes have problems with.

He therefore urged MUSIGA to do the right thing by making lives comfortable for the Ghanaian Musician.
