Maame Serwaa learns brutal lesson from mum's death

The mortal remains of Mrs Rose Amoateng Benson, the late mother of Kumawood actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa, will be laid to rest on January 20, next year, YEN.com.gh has gathered.

The burial and final funeral rites, we understand, will come off at Atwima Koforidua, a town on the outskirts of Kumasi.

As was the case for the one-week rite, many Kumawood stars are expected to attend the funeral to mourn with the teen actress. Maame Serwaa's mother passed away on December 7 after a short illness. The young actress, as the only daughter among Mrs Benson's three kids, was very close to her and seem devastated by the death.

While her main concern now is where she is going to get the motherly love Mrs Benson showed her all this while and how difficult it will be, moving on, she is learning lessons from her loss. In an emotional tribute she recently posted on her Instagram page, a heartbroken Maame Serwaa has revealed how her mum's death has thought her the brutal lesson of life being fickle. She, however, wishes the lesson could have come in a different way and takes consolation in the fond memories she has of her.

No matter what I do to move on from this pain, deep down inside I will always know that I will never get a mother's Love again????. Your death???????? was a brutal lesson to me that life is so fickle, I wish destiny had given this lesson to me in a different way. Mom, I know you are listening from the heavens above, there is nothing that I value more than your love, no matter where I am or what I am doing. Your memories will always keep me smiling.
