One young musician who continues to beat the minds of Ghanaians with his excellent dance hall/ragga hiplife style.
He is one of the greatest artistes hiplife has ever discovered since its beginning about ten years ago.?His real name is Raymond Kofi Frimpong.?This name may not be familiar with many people.?Better still, he is popularly called Mad Fish.

GB:?Why the name Mad fish?
Fish:?It is a name which was given to me way back in school.?As to why, I don't even know but I liked it so I accepted it.
GB:?Which school did you attend?
Fish:?I first went to Green Hill International School to the J.S.S level and had my secondary education at Kumasi High Secondary School (KUHISS).
GB:?Where do you come from?
Fish:?I come from Ashanti Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti Region.
GB:?How did you bring out your first album?
Fish:?It was a miracle.?I met this beautiful lady who asked me to do an album of my own.?I thought people will not patronize because I did strictly dance hall.?She encouraged me and asked of the money involved.
She brought the money and tried to get me a producer but no producer was prepared to help me.?She went round asking people about the money we would need in promoting the album.?She realized the amount involved was 50 million cedis so she got me the money and right from there it exploded like a bomb.
GB:?Who is this lady?
Fish:?She is Maxine.?She is my wife to be and at the same time my producer under our record label called Mad Max Records.
GB:?How is your album doing on the market now?
Fish:?Trust me, it's a bomb.?It is all over the place and sale is wonderful.
GB:?How successful would you say you are with one album?
Fish:?I have only one album but I think I have been able to live up to expectation and the album is still selling hot and better but God is the one who provides everything so I am still looking up to him.
GB:?Have you had the chance to perform on any International platform?
Fish:?No, but I just signed a contract with Joy FM to perform in London for the UK edition of the night with?the stars and I know after this more doors are going to be opened for me to perform on International shows.
GB:?What are some of the difficult times you went through to bring out this successful album?
Fish:?Since Maxine and I did everything ourselves, it was not an easy thing because we were working with our own strength and with the help of some key people like Mr. Robert Kosi Segbegi who is the Managing Director of Dapeg, Kwami Ablor, Ekow Puncho and other presenters.
GB:?What is the secret behind this success?
Fish:?The secret is honesty, hard working, devotion and commitment to the work you are doing and keeping a good image.
GB:?What would you say is your most satisfactory achievement?
Fish:?I think it's my performance in London for the night with the stars because I never imagined myself with just one album to have an opportunity such as this.
GB:?Are you married?
Fish:?I am not, but Max and I are more than married couples.
GB:?How long do you wish to do music?
Fish:?Music is my food, my water and everything so as far as I live on this earth music is what I will do.
GB:?What do you do apart from music?
Fish:?We do business with music apart from singing.
GB:?Who do you like apart from yourself in hiplife?
Fish:?I like every hiplife artist and musicians in general but more love to Batman, Yoggy Doggy, Bandana, Abortion and all the raga soldiers because they do what I do.

Fish:?As you can see I am already a fish so I like swimming, eating, playing table tennis and driving.

Fish:?I like green and white.
GB:?You are a Rasta man so why do you dress like a hip pop artist?
Fish:?If you go to Jamaica, you will see artistes like Elephantman who is a ghetto Rasta man but dresses with all these blinks around his neck.?That does not change him from being a Rasta man.?It's all about your heart and your conscience.?That is the type of looks I prefer but I am still a conscious Rasta man.

Fish:?Rice and stew and Yam with thick palm nut soup.
