Charles Nii Armah Mensah known in the entertainment circles as Shatta Wale has indicated that his ‘Mahama Paper’ track is about love.
“Well you know the track title is Mahama Paper. I used that because we are under the Governance of Mahama but the whole song talks about love..If you listen to the verses I was talking about a girl who should believe in a dream…It will get to a time when we are going to spend that ‘Mahama Paper’. The whole song is about love. How we should love ourselves because I believe hating each other wouldn’t be the key to where ever we want to get to but when we love each other its going to be there”, he said.
The eccentric artiste who spoke in an interview on Kumasi base Kapital Radio emphasized that the song preaches about love and also encourages people to pursue their dreams.
“I was just telling the girl that when we get there we gona spend the Mahama paper..what are we selling that people are not buying..we have that saying in Ga that no matter what when you carry something somebody will by all means buy something out of it.You can walk from here to Tema and you will get one person to buy something out of it..Any which way you will have to believe in the dream and fight for it” he added.
