President John Mahama on Thursday night showed his singing prowess on live stage when he sang the popular “Wogbe Jeke” song with Amandzeba Nat Brew before scores of NDC supporters at Akropong in the Eastern region.
The President, to the amazement of the supporters, mounted the platform and started the performance before the veteran musician joined in.
The short duet performance by Mr. Mahama and the highlife musician sent a sudden wave of excitement and sensation through the enthusiastic supporters who cheered them up.
The President later told the people how hard his government has worked over the last four years and asked them for a renewal of his mandate.
He said even though he was confronted with energy, infrastructural and economic challenges, he has worked to surmount them.
He explained that once these major challenges have been mitigated and fixed, Ghanaians are going to witness economic transformation and livelihood empowerment which would improve their living standards.
He said 400,000 youth are going to be provided with apprentice training with Ghc300 monthly allowance from 2017 to 2021.
The veteran highlife musician , Amandzeba, who has declared his support for the reelection of President Mahama called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the NDC on December 7.
