Controversial broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwa, popularly known as KKD, has expressed disappointment in the media for going into the Flagstaff House press conference with “predetermined” questions.

According to him, the journalists who converged at the presidency appeared to have represented themselves instead of the people they broadcast to.

President John Mahama on Tuesday met the Ghanaian media on the third anniversary of his assumption of office. He responded to questions from journalists on various matters of national interest.

Commenting on the conference, KKD told Nii Arday Clegg on the Morning Starr Wednesday that he was impressed with the President’s responses to the questions put to him.

“I thought the President did a good job speaking very calmly and very clearly...my greatest disappointment, however, was with our journalists.

"There was a bit grandstanding on the side of the journalists and you could tell very clearly that people had come there with predetermined questions instead of listening to what the President had to say,” he stated.

He said some of the journalists could have passed their questions on to their “smarter” colleagues to ask instead of doing it themselves.
