This year’s general election is just around the corner so few entertainers who want their voices to be heard have started commenting on political issues.

John Dumelo, Tracey Boakye, Mzbel, Sarkodie and few other entertainers have in one way or the other shared their thoughts on the economy of the country. Whilst some strongly believe that the current government has ruled the country well so it deserves another term, others think otherwise.

Rapper Guru has broken his silence on the current state of the economy joining his colleagues who have already passed their judgement on the president’s efforts to develop the country for the past four years

The musician made his two cents about the efforts of government officials to develop the nation in a new song he calls “My Take”.

Guru in the Tubani produced single said the International Monetary Fund is not willing to lend money to Ghana again due the poor state of the economy.

He rebuked leaders of the nation for “not thinking outside the box”.

“You don’t think outside the box. The land does not have a problem; the leaders have made the nation hot. Africa is blessed but our leaders have made the country dull” Guru opined in the song.

He later advised the president to solve the internal wrangles in his party else he will lose this year’s general election.

“If you don’t solve your issues at home, Mr. President, this year you will lose” Guru told Mahama.
