Man found dead

Techiman (B/A), July 22, GNA - A 32-year-old man, Martin Kwame Kyeremateng from Techiman-Ahenefi, was on Friday found dead near the Atweredaa stream at Techiman. Three slaughtered she-goats allegedly stolen by the deceased were found lying by him. Superentendent J. Owiredu Nkansah, Techiman Police Commander, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the man was believed to have died from multiple cutlass wound on the forehead with the right hand almost chopped off. Supt. Owiredu said the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for an autopsy. The owner of the goats has not been identified and the Police were still investigating Supt. Owiredu said.
