Ejisu (Ash), July 11, GNA- An Ejisu Magistrate's Court has remanded a 30-year-old man at Besease near Ejisu in Ashanti, Mamudu Seidu, who is believed to be a jujuman for attempted grave looting. He pleaded not guilty and would re-appear on July 14. Police Inspector Nkansah Twumasi-Ankrah, told the court that on July 3, the accused and another person now on the run, drove to the Achinakrom public cemetery in a taxi at about 2130 hours and attempted to loot the grave of a hunchback, Kofi Nimoh.

Police Inspector Nkansah Twumasi-Ankrah, told the court that on July 3, the accused and another person now on the run, drove to the Achinakrom public cemetery in a taxi at about 2130 hours and attempted to loot the grave of a hunchback, Kofi Nimoh. He said a woman who saw them ran to inform the Assembly Member for the area, Mr Adu Bonsu, who in turn organised some members of the community, rushed to the cemetery and arrested the accused. A sack, shovel, cutlass and other digging implements were seized from the accused.
