YEN.com.gh has sighted a beautiful painting of the second lady, Samira Bawumia, which is trending online.
According to a professional photographer, Nana Kofi Acquah, who shared photos of the painting on Instagram, it was painted by a man who literally has no limbs.
The man identified as Joel Acheampong, Nana Kofi Acquah observed, was Ghana's first quadriplegic artist.
A quadriplegic is someone who is paralysed in all four limbs.
The artist, YEN.com.gh learnt, is married with four children and runs an NGO that supports other physically challenged artists.
The post has generated much interest on social media with many praising Joel and expressing their desire to help him.
@artsyraine521 could not help but admire Joel's work: "I truly admire your work!!! It is OUTSTANDING!!! I can learn a thing or two from you. Thank you for sharing and many Blessings!"
@eqonsept was awed by Joel's talent:"Such an awesome talent
@africashowboy thanks for sharing his story. God Bless you"
@oyooquartey was also encouraged by the painting:"Disability isn't inability. That's simply encouraging to those of us who have fully working limbs to not sit and fold our hands in our laps."
The beautiful painting of the second lady comes after a 'no makeup' photo of hers surfaced and caused a stir online.
In the photo, Samira is seen standing with her husband, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the President of Cote d'Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara.
The three in long white apparels with Samira wearing a hijab to cover her head and she had no makeup.
The photo which is believed to have been taken in Mecca where the three people were partaking in the Hajj pilgrimage got many criticizing her for not being 'so beautiful' without makeup.
But this painting should put Samira Bawumia's beauty in no doubt and to Joel, it must definitely be his breakthrough.
