Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A) Oct. 24, GNA - A circuit court at Dormaa sentenced Gordon Yeboah and his wife Comfort Adwoa to 18 months and 36 months imprisonment respectively for stealing a goat.

Prosecution said Yeboah's father asked him if he had any knowledge of the theft but he denied it.

Chief Inspector Kumah said when Yeboah's father went to his son's house the following day, he saw the wife (of son) preparing goat meat soup and he reported the matter to the chief. Prosecution said when the couple were arrested by the police they admitted the offence.
