Massive turnout at Yvonne Nelson’s audition

An overwhelming number of wannabe actors/actresses from Ghana, Nigeria and other African countries on Saturday afternoon attended actress Yvonne Nelson’s audition for her upcoming movie next year.

The audition was to pick actors/actresses who will star alongside Yvonne Nelson, the lead character in the new production.

It was held at the T Lounge at East Legon behind the PH Hotel in Accra.

The beautiful actress, synonymous with large following, has proven that once again with the auditioning.

A lot of wannabe actors/actresses travelled far and near just to be part of what could be described as a historic event.

Some travelled as far as from Togo and Sierra Leone just to be part of the occasion, after they heard of the event from the actress’ various social media pages.

From Ghana were also persons who travelled as far as from Sunyani to join the audition, which was dominated by young ladies.

The process started exactly at 12 noon on Saturday and ended late at about 7:30pm, though it was announced it would end earlier.

Yvonne and her YN Production crew took their time to audition everyone.

Patrons were put into groups and given scripts to act for the judges—Yvonne Nelson, Kweku Elliot, Bismark the joker and Augusta—to select the right actors and actresses.

Judges awarded marks based on acting, looks and articulation among others.

Indeed, some persons left the event not happy because they didn’t get a welcoming response from the judges as they anticipated, and vice versa.

For some, however, the audition wasn’t why they were there; they came purposely to watch the actress and take some photos with her.

Yvonne, as expected, took some time off the busy schedule of auditioning to take photos with them.
