Me posting Sister Derby’s pictures is not a jab at Fella Makafui - Akuapem Poloo

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Rosemond Brown, aka Akuapem Poloo, has addressed speculation regarding her social media activity, specifically her posts featuring fellow entertainer Sister Derby.

Amidst the ongoing marital troubles between Medikal and Sister Derby, Akuapem Poloo had been spotted posting pictures of Sister Derby with captions that many have interpreted as making mockery of Fella Makafui

Addressing this in an interview with Accra FM on May 22, 2024, Akuapem Poloo debunked such rumours, asserting that her intentions are purely positive.

She stated that their friendship is genuine and close, which is why she often shares Sister Derby's pictures.

“Sister Derby has been a very good friend of mine, she has even followed me to one of my shows to perform for free. She has been real to me, we are very close. So I randomly post her from time to time.

“I am not posting her to throw a subtle jab at anybody, all my captions are about her. Not anybody,” she said.

Akuapem Poloo firmly denied any intention of using her posts as veiled attacks on anyone, including Fella Makafui, stating that she would never mock or troll anyone, as she feels such negativity would return to her.

“I am a real person, if something concerns me, I will speak up about it, not go through the corners.

“I wouldn't dare mock or troll Fella or anybody, I believe that if you do that, the same thing will happen to you,” she said.
