Mechanic remanded for assault

Tema, June 10,GNA- The Tema Circuit Court'A', has remanded Musah Bannah, a 29 year- old Mechanic to two weeks prison custody for assault. Bannah pleaded not guilty to intentionally causing harm to one Apebivine Adams.

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector of Police, Sarah Aggrey Acquah told the Court presided over by Mr Charles Asiedu, that on March 18, 2004, the accused attacked the complainant and a Witness at a drinking spot in Community without provocation.

In the process, Bannah sprinkled drinks and grilled meat (Khebab) the two had bought from the Spot.

The complainant confronted the accused, but people present restrained him.

The accused pursued Adams and attacked him again when he was buying another set of Khebab, and inflicted wounds on him.
