Ever since the VGMAs 2017 came to an end at the Conference Centre in Accra, many has spoken heavily against why an artist with 7 nominations will go home empty handed after the show.
Worse of all, the artist made it all the way to the artist of the year category and failed to win the New artist of the year category. It makes absolutely no sense!.
Some section of Ghanaians including seasoned music producers like Hammer of the Last Two took time to twitter to sympathize with Samuel Frimpong Popular known as Medikal for this Charter house goof.
Hammer Tweeted:
“7 nominations and no awards is delibrate humiliation. Not cool.”
Others too had massive fun making fun and teasing the “Too Risky” hitmaker for his lose.
Well, the Arab Money Gang rapper has spoken finally. In a tweet, the rapper thanked his fans who voted for him prior to the awards night.
In a tweet, Medikal said:
“Shout out to everybody that voted. Forget everybody. God knows why things happened the way it did.”
