Ghanaian rapper Kwaku Tutu has described hiplife musician Medikal as a “dope” artiste who has a bright future.
According to Kwaku T, he would have asked Medikal to pay him some royalties for using his tagline ‘Bo me din ma me’ in his raps were he a bad artiste.
The 2007 Big Brother Africa housemate used the tagline several years ago when he was vibrant in the music industry.
He further described Medikal as an artiste who understands the rap business.
He expressed excitement that young artistes like Medikal use some of his music lines in their songs.
Speaking with Prince Benjamin on Class91.3FM’s Class Drive, Kwaku T said: “I always say jokingly but not jokingly, some royalties are due, the man (Medikal) got to pay royalties for using my tagline, ‘Bo me din ma me’ but beyond that, no, I’m glad he’s somebody who knows how to rap, so, he can use; it would have been different if the guy was whack, then I would go like: ‘Come on, we got to call you out’, but he’s a dope artiste. I confuse Medikal with Criss Waddle sometimes, because I remember listening to Waddle before I left. Medikal is dope, I mean shouts out to him; we will do something sometime, you never know,”.
Some of Kwaku T’s songs include Aletse Ogboo, Lomna va, Edua neb u, Toto mechanic, WTO, and and more recently 'No awam'.
