Meet new Afro pop star Balo Africa

New Afro-pop sensation Balo is making waves with his brand new single ‘Your Wish’ recorded by Done Deal Family Records.

‘Your Wish’ speaks and asks questions about the ‘perfect’ kind of love; whether it really exists.

Born James Dodoo on July 8 into a family of six, Balo spent a decade of his life in Ibadan, Nigeria. He, however, hails from Jamestown (Otublohum).

He is the second born of four children.

As a recording artist, song writer and a performer, Balo has other tracks to his credit, aside his wave-maker single.

'Monalisa' describes how beautiful a wife looks when she wakes up in the morning and the strength and happiness she exudes, especially with her role as the baby mama.

'The Movie' brings the understanding that life can never be a movie. Other than that most men would have written their own script and acted it.

Famous for his phrase Best African lyrical original, Balo uses his music to express that which cannot be said and same which is impossible to be silent. Music drives his motive of talking life, love and sex in a different perspective, a style that distinguishes his creative and versatile music.
