TV3 Mentor III went for African oldies last Sunday with amazing performances from all six contestants who all proved they were in a class of their own.
It was an eviction free as well as a come back show for the four evictees. Of course the Studio B was full to the max with lovely audience who have come to witness the show.
The Judges comprising Dominic, Mama Rama, 'notorious' Mark and a guest Judge Director of Engineering, Sam Helwani, of Master Mix Band were around to do their usual thing.
The show commenced the evictees comprising Peter representing the Ashanti region, Erico from the Greater Accra, Gina representing the Eastern region and K-G from the Westside respectively.
It was then the turn of the six contestants. Ras Lisa from the Ashanti region did 'Wola tu woala sa'. She impressed the Judges expect Judge Mark.
Paul from the Eastern region performed 'A good one there'. He did impress the Judges with his good stage craft.
Dela from the Greater Accra took the task of performing 'Meredian'. Judge Dominic picked on her note values and advised her to work on it.
Faya from the Greater Accra came with 'Yellow sisi'. The Judges singled out on his diction and advised him to work on that.
Paa from the Eastern region took turns to perform 'Wo bekumi'. It well performed and was classified as the smooth rider.
Nadjat from the Western region performed 'Hu me mobo'. The Judges picked on her bad diction. She was also asked to work on her timing.
At the end of their performance, Erico was the lucky one to be voted back into the Mentor house. He took the opportunity to give out a very splendid show which was absorbed by all.
