Mentor Housemates Visit Sponsor
TV3 Mentor housemates have paid a familiarization visit to their main sponsor, Scancom Limited, operators of Areeba Ghana GSM, in Accra.
The visit by eight of the 12 original housemates and four judges gave them an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the operations of the company and to thank the management of the company for its sponsorship.
They toured the Call Centre, the Software Development Department, the Maintenance Service, the Compensation and Benefit Section, the Fleet and Travel Section, Administrative Directors Office, the Training and Developer Section and the Recruitment Unit.
The housemates were Prince, Maya, Ruth, Andy, Paulette, Doris, Isaac, and Roseline. The judges were Rama Brew, Dominic Ansah, Latoya Aduke and Toni Manieson, as well as the presenter, Chris Attoh.
The Finance Director of the Company, Mr. Muhammed Ziaullah Siddiqui, who welcomed the housemates, told them that the company had a social responsibility to organize, support and patronize various activities.
Mr. Siddiqui stated that the TV3 Mentor programme had revealed a lot of talented youth who otherwise would not have been known in the country.
?Most of the programmes on TV stations attract only specific groups of people. But I must say this programme is the favourite of people belonging to all sections of society including men, women, the young and the old?, he said.
The Public Relations Officer of TV3, Mrs. Janet Danquah, said since Areeba was the major sponsor of Mentor, it was prudent on the part of the housemates to thank it for the kind gesture.
The Brand Manager of TV3, Mr. Atto Aful, announced that the company was committed to coming up with innovative programmes, such as Looking for Love, among others.
One of the inmates, Prince Nana Tuffour, on behalf of his colleagues, thanked Areeba for its kind gesture. Later, the housemates dined together with the staff of the company.
The grand final of the Mentor programme is scheduled for the Accra International Conference Centre tonight.
