Ghanaian-owned UK-based event hub, Mingles Entertainment, threw one of the most talked-about events of the season with their Sneakers Rave End of Summer party, held at Smade Lounge in London, on Saturday, August 31.
Sneakers Rave was a celebration of music, fashion, and good vibes. The event, which drew a vibrant crowd, brought together sneaker enthusiasts and music lovers for a night of dancing, fun, and cultural expression to celebrate the close of summer in style.
The night was filled with high-energy performances from some of the UK-based DJs, including DJ Wayne, DJ Skinny, and DJ SNEH from Nigeria, among other musical talents. Known for their ability to blend Afrobeats, dancehall, and hip-hop, the DJs had the crowd dancing from start to finish.
UK-based artists NUA and Star Vicy brought the heat, while a lineup of guest artists took the energy to another level. The event had the co-founder of Afronation, Smade, as part of the attendees, along with other renowned content creators. They were treated to a mix of chart-toppers and underground hits, all set to the backdrop of pulsating lights and immersive visuals.
In a brief interview, the CEO of Mingles Entertainment expressed his excitement about the success of the event: “We’re grateful to all who came out and made this an unforgettable night.
“The Sneakers Rave may have marked the end of summer, but it is clear that Mingles Entertainment's party season is just getting started,” he added.
