Miss Centenary to construct an orphanage

Sekondi Feb. 21 GNA- Miss Angela Mac-Kafui, who won Shama-Ahanta East Metropolitan Assembly (SAEMA) centenary celebration beauty pageant, on Friday said she intended to solicit for funds to establish an orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS in the metropolis. This was contained in a press release issued in Sekondi.

Miss Kafui said she also has plans to form HIV/AIDS Awareness Clubs in Schools, institutions and organizations.


She said "it is my interest to identify People Living With HIV/AIDS, interact with them so that their experiences shared with me, could help better inform my peers on the pandemic".

Miss Kafui said she would work towards improvement of education in the area to enable the youth to acquire skills.


She appealed to industries, churches and organizations to support the SAEMA to change the fortunes of the Metropolis.
