Miss Legon Cancelled Or Postponed?

The Legon Hall Week was launched last week Friday and right from the onset of the week celebrations the challenges were highly evident and potent. The traditional float was cancelled due to technical maneuvers.

The Artistes Night delivered the organizing committee from the criticisms and rage of the student body as spectacular performances were witness from the likes of Guru, Sarkodie, Ruff and Smooth, R2Bs and a host of others.

The shocking news hit campus late Saturday evening as thousands of students were preparing for the grand event and the climax of the celebrations. The mostly anticipated and premium pageantry of the University had been postponed (cancelled for a week). The pageantry had been rescheduled to Friday, the 26th of March at the Accra International Conference Center. Organizers of the show have expressed their sincerest apology to the student body and all people concerned.

Speaking to a member of the organizing committee “It was all in the good interest of the best student pageant. This time you will not only see performances from Ruff n Smooth, Guru, Racheal and Iwan but also from R2Bs, Asem and a host of blazing superstars. We express our sincerest apology.”

A lot of guarantee has been given both in word and deed to the media and the student body that the upcoming show will be one of exceptional stakes. 10beautiful, intelligent and outstanding ladies will be battling it out to see who comes out as the premier lady of the Legon Hall amidst sterling performances from some of Ghana’s finest arts.
