Accra, Nov. 12, GNA - The winner and runners-up of Miss Malaika 2010 Beauty Pageant and contestants from MTN Soccer Academy Reality Show on Friday visited the Head Office of MTN at Ridge in Accra, to interact with the management. They were accompanied by the management of Charter House Limited and Optimum Media Prime Limited, organisers of Miss Malaika and the Soccer Academy to show their appreciation for sponsorship of the programmes. Mr Clement Asante, Acting Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, on behalf of Mr Brett Goschen, Chief Executive Officer of MITN congratulated the contestants for their participation.

Mr Asante said MTN's core values were premised on the can-do spirit exhibited by the contestants. "We are proud that our association with you reiterates the brand's stance for leadership and can-do spirit and hope these values shall continue to spur you on to attain greater heights in future," he added. Mr Asante said MTN was committed to contributing towards the development of sports and entertainment to promote national unity. He commended the organisers for their efforts in supporting youth talent development in the country and urged them to continue with their endeavour to raise more future leaders. Madam Awo Baah, Business Development Manager of Optimum Media Prime, presented a framed jersey of the MTN Soccer Academy while Ms Ama Nettey, Miss Malaika 2010, presented her portrait to the management.
