KOSI GLAH CONSULT, an event management outfit, as part of their commitment to ridding Ghana of filth, has launched the Miss Metro Ghana pageant.
The pageant is aimed at crowning a beauty queen who becomes a campaign ambassador for the education of the general public on the adverse effects of filth. She will also be an advocate for the promotion of good sanitation practices among citizens.
As the name suggests, the pageant will audition eloquent ladies of substance from the five metropolitan cities in Ghana namely, Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Tamale and Sekondi-Takoradi.
The chosen ladies will then undertake sustainable sanitation projects in their respective metropolis, which will form part of the selection process to determine the final winner during the grand finale to be held in Accra.
According to the organisers, the winner will be the official face of the pageant and nationally recognized as an ambassador for environmental sanitation education in Ghana.
Winning prizes also include an official car, a cash prize, a return ticket to one of the finest cities in Africa, and other consolation prizes.
Audition dates and venues, as well as other information, will be released soon.
