The finals of the 2014 edition of the Miss World pageant takes place today,Sunday December 14, 2014; at Excel London, which is located in the heart of London’s Royal Docks.

Tim Vincent and the reigning Miss World, Megan Young, would be hosting the show, which according to her, is her passion.

The show would be broadcast live across the world at 2:30 p.m. (GMT).

Vamp Band’s hit song, ‘Somebody To You’, is a huge sell out and has garnered more than 40 million views on You Tube. The Vamps are being considered a global phenomenon as the first five singles from their album ‘Meet The Vamps’ has already made it to UK’s top 10 list.

Sky Blu is also set to perform at the event.

The multi-talented Grammy winner would be opening the ceremony with his new single ‘We Love Girls’. He would also close the ceremony with his smash-hits such as ‘Pop Bottles’.

Ghana has a strong representation in Nadia Ntanu, who together with over 121 others, would be competing for the ultimate crown. Ntanu, who has taken part in all fast track events prior to the finals, is hopeful she would make an impact.

Ghana is looking forward to replicating her impressive output at last year’s final where she came third. Ghana is the current holder of the Miss World Africa title.

Expectations are high as the contestants take to the stage to make their countries proud.
