One of Ghana’s top models in Europe, Sara Seweey, who has spent almost all her life in Italy, has advised her role models not to take modeling as their lifetime profession.
She said for more than 10 years, she has been modeling for fun and that she strongly thinks modeling isn't a kind of job one should be actively engaged in, particularly when they hit 26 and above.
Talking about the modeling industry in Europe, she said that it is paying, and revealed although she is not doing it as her full time job she earns close to 300 euros a day depending on her hard work and the minimum she can earn a day is approximately 200euros.
Sara said apart from coming to Ghana to study law, she has also come to nurture her acting talent as she intends shifting from modeling to acting, now that she thinks she has paid her dues in modeling.
For her throughout her modeling career, she has never exposed her body nor involved herself in any sex scandal as some people in that profession are known to be doing. To Sara, modeling is not being given any attention in Ghana adding that being a model in Ghana makes one useless.
