Ghanaian highlife duo Wutah Kobby and Wutah Afriyie, known in the entertainment industry as ‘Wutah’, have dismissed the fact that neither money nor women was the root of their split.

After chalking quite a number of success in their music carrier and taking the 2nd place in the maiden edition of Nescafe Africa Revolution music competition in 2004, the duo decided to go solo due to some speculations regarding trivial matters in the year 2009.

Although they did not give definite reasons pertaining to their breakup, in an interview on TV3’s New Day, Afriyie Wutah said that “women, money, fame and ego did not break us up”. The Wutah duo, who is thrilled to be reunited, told host Johnnie Hughes that they are hoping there would be no split-up again.

They noted that time was a factor, which has brought them back together.

The group’s trademark is to deliver good music which is evident in several of their hitsongs including ‘Goosie gander’, ‘Adonko’ and ‘Big Dreams’ with the current being ‘AK47’ produced under their new record label, NKZ music The music duo sets out to produce quite a number of songs as they did in the past.
