Most gospel musicians are not spiritually endowed - Prof. Kofi Toe

Gospel music otherwise known as Christian songs is another form of preaching the message of Christ to believers, from highly spirited people also known as gospel musicians, but according to gospel minister, Prof. Samuel Kofi Toe, most current gospel champs in the music industry are not spirit filled.

He explained that, gospel songs must play the role of evangelism hence called on gospel musicians to concentrate and produce songs that will change lives positively when consumed.

Elder Prof. Kofi Toe who recently launched his 10th album at the Church of Pentecost (Israel Assembly) Mamobi branch in an interview explained that, the new crop of gospel ministers are not spiritually endowed hence the songs they produce are not able to make any positive impact.

The ‘Apagya’ hitmaker bemoaned that, current gospel musicians focus more on the business aspect of the job than the main aim of spreading the word of God for the purpose of soul wining.

“Now you can’t differentiate between the secular and gospel musicians, we think this is about civilization but the bible has never changed …

“And that is why the bible says by their fruits ye shall know them”… he stated.
