Holland-based Ghanaian gospel musician Patrick Adu Sarfo has cautioned Ghanaians against the increasing rate of fake gospel musicians in the industry.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanacreativearts.com he said that just like the are many fake pastors who have suddenly scattered all over the country, a number of gospel artistes in the entertainment industry are also not real Christians.
He added that most of the fake gospel musicians are easily identified through their content and how they carry themselves.
As to why the fake gospel musicians keep increasing day in and out, he said that
" They are into the ministry because of money. They are not truly portraying how true Christians should live their lives especially how they behave on Social Media. People shouldn't forget what is written in the Holy Bible Mattew 7:16 which states that you shall know them by their fruits."
Patrick Adu who has two albums to his credit titled 'Osagyefo' and 'Awieye ne Asem' is currently preparing to release his third album titled 'Take control' in February 2019.
