Ghanaian counsellor, Charlotte Oduro
A popular Ghanaian counsellor, Charlotte Oduro, has named sexual dissatisfaction as one of the main causes of unhappy women in marriages.
Speaking in a viral video published on the Instagram page of Okay FM, Charlotte Oduro explained that women go through lots of hormonal imbalances, and their spouses are sometimes unable to satisfy them sexually.
According to her, most of these women, unfortunately, do not know how to communicate their sexual needs to their spouses leaving them unhappy.
She said, “You will find most women unhappy left, right and centre, and it’s not because of any other issue but sexual dissatisfaction. It is because of our hormones; it just makes us angry unprovoked.
“And that is the cause of women being unhappy in their marriages but the sad thing is they are not able to tell their spouses where to touch and how they want to be pleased and made love to. So instead of communication, most women just express anger and put on long faces.”
She said women who are happy in their homes are those who are able to communicate their sexual needs to their lovers.
“When a woman is able to communicate their needs when it comes to making love, they always have a smiley face and they are always okay. They flow and it’s because they have found someone who they can communicate their feelings with effectively,” she explained.
She advised women to make it a point to communicate their needs at all times.
