Most of the hit songs I produced earned me nothing - Kaywa

Award-winning sound engineer Kaywa has revealed that most of the hit songs that he produced earned him almost nothing and that the secret behind his exploits is the divine grace from the Almighty God.

Speaking to Murphy Lee, host of Entertainment Extra on Storm 101.9 mhz based in Sunyani, Kaywa said his passion is to record talents who will inspire people.

"Music inspires footballers. I record talented artistes not because of money. I have trained sound engineers who charge GHC 3000.00, so charging GHC 2500 is very cheap, if video directors are charging GHC 10.000, how much more the person who recorded the song?" Kaywa explained.

Kaywa has produced hits including Odo Pa, Do the Dance, Slow Motion, Yenko Nkoaa and Adult Music just to mention a few.
