Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, popularly known as 'Mr. Beautiful'
Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful, has explained why he joined the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and has been campaigning for the party over the years.
Mr. Beautiful, a prominent supporter of the NDC, has frequently been spotted at major party events.
In an interview with Roseline Felli on Joy Prime, Mr. Beautiful shared the reasons behind his strong support for the NDC.
He disclosed that his decision was influenced by a book written by Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, which discusses the development of Ghana and Africa.
According to Mr. Beautiful, after reading the book, titled ‘The Voice of Conakry’, he felt a deep connection to the NDC, believing it to be the party capable of advancing the country’s development.
He stated, “I read The Voice of Conakry by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. After reading it, I realised where I truly belong. I came to the conclusion that I am an NDC supporter. Nkrumah’s book discusses Africa and Ghana, and how Ghana can be developed. I believe that the only political party capable of achieving this development is the NDC.”
