Nana Osei-Kesse, known in showbiz circles as Mr. Bonez, won the award for TV Male Entertainment Show Host of the Year at the 2024 Foklex Media Awards held at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana.
Mr. Bonez, who hosts the 'Music Plus' show on Kessben TV and 'Music Zone' on Kessben FM, was nominated in a highly competitive category alongside other heavyweights in the media space at this year's Foklex Media Awards.
He was nominated against notable media personalities including Giovanni Caleb (TV3), Jay Foley (3Music TV), Larry Bozzlz (CTV), Agyemang Prempeh (XYZ TV), and Papa Kumasi (Royal TV).
The Kumasi-based showbiz personality, who also works as a talent manager and brand strategist, has been active in Ghana's media industry for over 15 years.
Mr. Bonez's journey in broadcast media began at Parrot FM in 2007, where he worked as a radio presenter and disc jockey (DJ) during his student days at Sunyani Technical University.
The experienced media consultant holds an MBA in Marketing from KNUST, Kumasi, and also serves as a part-time lecturer at Kessben University College in the Ashanti Region.
