The second edition of Ghana’s only male modeling competition, Mr. Model Ghana 2015 has ended its selection process and thirteen (13) amateur and professional male models have been picked.
Organized by Fame Model Management, the male pageant is aimed at discovering and promoting new faces for the male modeling and fashion industry in Ghana and beyond.
It also focuses on empowering young models and introducing them to the world of possibilities, encouraging them to reach for the ultimate in life.
The selected thirteen models are Edward Woanya (19yrs), Archibald Acquaye (25), Alfred Amoah Agyekum (19yrs), Frederick Nana Yaw Adjei (22yrs), Victor Chukwunonso (24yrs), Alex Kofi Donkor (24yrs), Richard kyaah Mensah (25yrs), Mofe Oluwamuyiwa (25yrs), Daniel Dartey Bekoe (20yrs), Henry Benard Moses (22yrs), Michael Ukwuteno (26yrs), Adams Abasiano Emmanuel (20yrs) and Leslie Amartey Ashidam (26yrs).
The lucky finalists will go through eight (8) weeks of catwalk training, male grooming and the business of modeling, photo shoot challenges, charity works with the Autism Center in Accra and over all make overs to prepare them for the grand finale on the June 6, 2015 in Accra.
However, four of the finalist will be evicted based on pre judging and public votes before the grand finale.
Creative Director for the competition, Terry Mingle, in an interview mentioned that each contestant will be stretched and tasked to bring out their inner models so they can go back home with the best of grooming for the highly competitive modeling world.
