Gospel artiste Ernest Opoku has broken his silence on the attack on him by Ghanaian actress NAYAS 1 at Adom FM studio during a live worship.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the renowned gospel artiste expressed disappointment in security officers of Multimedia Group Limited for their failure to take proper care over the attack.

He urged the Multimedia firm to take responsibility for their negligence.

The host of the Live Worship programme, Kwamena Idan also confirmed that the Actress told the front desk executive she was part of the backing vocalists so she was allowed into the studio.

“I know what Multimedia has done for some gospel artistes like myself so I don’t charge for any live worship event I attend at the reputable media firm but what happened to me yesterday was such disappointing and unpleasant.

“I was in the studio of Adom FM when the girl rushed in. I was even making a call and couldn’t see the lady walked in. I only realized she was present in the studio when she started lashing me severally but I didn’t retaliate. Multimedia was unable to protect me when the lady barged in the studio. If Nayas should have come with a gun or an acid, I would have been dead by now!

“If Multimedia doesn’t take responsibility of this case I will be disappointed in them. Multimedia didn’t protect me… I give everything to God.

“Ghanaians should watch her pregnancy carefully since she said she is pregnant for 3 months. I won’t lay my hands on her but I leave everything to God.”

The actress, Gladys Mensah Buako otherwise known as NAYAS1 on Monday stormed the studio of Adom FM to chase out sensational gospel musician, Ernest Opoku, during a Live Worship event.

The movie producer marched to the station with four hidden canes, and attacked the gospel musician.

According to sources, NAYAS 1 drove to the radio station in the company of some men, when she had a tip off from a close confidant working with the station that Ernest Opoku will lead live worship on Monday.

According to the bystanders, the security officers, host and producers of the Live Worship programme were unable to stop the furious actress from attacking the gospel musician.

Nayas, born Gladys Mensah Boaku, who was clearly not amused by the gospel musician’s comments stormed the studio on Monday to exact revenge.

Ernest Opoku, had to be whisked away in a red Toyota Highlander by some friends who could not stand the day-light embarrassment.

The renowned gospel musician recently reacted to claims by actress Nayas that he asked her to abort their three-month-old pregnancy.

The musician in an interview made it clear that he is a human being but not an angel so mistakes are bound to happen and what the actress has said publicly in the past days are part of errors he has committed in the past.

He further asked the public including all Christians to pray for him to endure future temptations. According to him, the fact that he has made a mistake does not mean the Lord has forsaken him.

Ernest further advised the public to beware of the devil because it destroys human beings through women and other objects.
