Close relatives of Ghanaian player Sulley Muntari have asked his girlfriend Menaye Donkor to lick her wounds after the revelation that the Portsmouth star midfielder has been seeing another woman.
Menaye, Miss Universe 2004 contestant, is reported to be furious over reports in the UK newspaper The Sun on Friday that Muntari has been bedding a lap dancer.
Muntari, 23, who plays in tomorrow's FA Cup final, bedded Amanda Jones, 27, while still with Menaye, who is based in Canada.
But a furious close relative of the player has told Ghanasoccernet that the beauty queen tossed morality out of the window when she started dating the Ghanaian star at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
"Oh - Menaye should just shut up and realise that she is being paid back for what she did. Sulley is not married and she should just allow him to be," the Muntari relative, who pleaded anonymity told Ghanasoccernet.
Muntari, who is from a devout Muslim family, had been dating Sahada, a university-educated daughter of a highly-respected Muslim opinion leader in Ghana called Sheikh Mustapha Ibrahim.
According to the source, Menaye knew that Muntari dated Sahada for close to four years but she still opted to prise away the midfielder regardless of the presence of another girl.
"Sahada has been very civil about the way Menaye trumped her relationship with Sulley. She has refused to talk about it," the source said.
"Menaye knows she did the wrong thing and she knows no one in the family is happy about her.
"She should just shut up and deal with it."
Muntari signed for Portsmouth ? nickname Pompey ? from Italian club Udinese for ?7million last May.
Amanda met him at a lap-dance club she worked at in Bournemouth in June.
