Accra, Dec. 11, GNA - Gospel music lovers in Ghana were on Saturday thrilled to their favourite songs at this year’s Stratcomm Africa Praise and Thanksgiving event dubbed: “ Praise Jam 2011.”

The event on the theme: “Raising the bar, Soaring higher on God’s goodness,” was aimed at praising and thanking God for His goodness and mercies throughout the years.

The audience who filled the auditorium of National Theatre in Accra to the brim were treated to popular songs from artists including Danny Nettey, Stella Seal, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Cwesi Oteng and Calvis Hammond.

Others artistes were; Joe Mettle, Becky Bonney and Man on Sax, Pastor Albert Asante, the Harmonious Chorale, Asbury Dunwell Praise and Worship team and the Stratcomm Africa family.

The audience could not help but to dance and sing along the artistes as they perform to their admiration.

Ms Esther Cobbah, Chief Executive of Stratcomm Africa encouraged Christians to worship through their work and let their act of worship reflect in their daily lives to bring glory to the name of Jesus.

According to Ms Cobbah worship required spirituality and called on Christians to seek the face of God on how best to worship right so as to continue to live in an attitude of holiness.

Elder Ransford Abossey, of Joy FM, in a sermon asked Christians to empower themselves with knowledge to impact positively on the society.
