Music producers hindering progress of underground artistes - Aseda

Aseda Danso Abeam, known by his stage name “Aseda”, has lamented about the plight of underground artistes, when the dealing with top music producers in the country.

Artistes who are yet to hit the limelight in the music industry, are known as “underground” artistes.

According to the new afro-pop artiste, renowned music producers in the country do not pay attention to their works and sometimes charge them high fees before producing their songs.

'It's very discouraging how top big music producers treat some underground artistes. They feel reluctant in doing their best to enable us to thrive in our respective music careers, but rather pay much attention to the already establish artistes.

''We are been charged high fees for recording our songs and it will shock to know that, some big artiste don't even pay a dime to the music producers but yet treat our works without any seriousness,'' he said in an interview.

Aseda, a fast rising Afro-pop artiste recently released his first single titled ''Young Girl'' and it's available across music sites.
