Musician Aba Haynes nominated for CGMA’s 2019 backing vocalist of the year award

Aba Haynes, a renowned gospel artiste who has served the Ghanaian populace and other music lovers across the world for years have been named in the 2019 Contemporary Gospel Music Awards, in the category, Backing Vocalist of the year.

Over the years Aba Haynes have been working with top class artists such as Okyeame Kwame, Kwame Eugene, Stonebwoy, Efya, Becca, Samini, Kidi, Adina, Joyce blessing, Teni (Nigerian artiste) and many more.

Aba is competing with fifteen (15) contestant for the 2019 backing vocalist of the year award.

Prior to her nomination as the 2019 backing vocalist of the year, Aba participated in the recent Ghana Music Awards, Efya’s popular girls talk annual event, Afrima Gh, just to mention a few.

Talking of her Nomination, Aba expressed great joy and solicited for support by saying “I have been working hard for years by backing top class musicians to ensure their music reaches the heart of their fans and music lovers across the globe, therefore am super excited that CGMA has recognized my exploits in the music industry”.

Contemporary Gospel Music Awards (CGM AWARDS) Ghana scheme has been designed to foster the development of the Ghanaian contemporary gospel music industry.

The award is mainly a public choice award which allows the public 70% voting power to decide the winner whereas the 30% of the power lies in the bosom of the board.

Musicians who release songs, albums, videos or any kind of project that falls under any of the published categories are required to send in their nominations by email for consideration.
